BASKETBALL Boys Basketball vs West Ottawa at home 4:00 p.m. Come out and support your Rockets!
Basketball - The 7th grade Rocket basketball team played for a packed house against the visitors from Muskegon. As the crowd noise grew, so did the Rocket lead as they pushed to a 50-39 victory. A big three to end the half by Braylon Swain provided the momentum to dominate the second half. JC Tornes took over with a game high nineteen points and seven rebounds. Connor McManus was a huge target down low with eight points and six boards. Swain and Bryce Muskovin contributed seven and six points respectively while Easton Roberts, Braeden Monette and Lyric Stewart put in a combined ten. It was a superb homestand for the Rockets as they continue to show daily improvement.
The 8th grade basketball team struggled against a tough Muskegon team last night. The team fought until the end but were unable to get the win. It was a hard night for the 8th Grade Rockets who now look to get better and set their sights on West Ottawa at home this Thursday.
