Sweet Support

At RPMS, we raised money for the Sailor Salute partnership with a campaign called Sweet Support. All of the money raised will be donated to Northside Veterans. Student leaders sold tickets all week before school and at lunch that could be entered in a raffle to "pie" many of our staff members in the face. For twenty-six participating staff members, we drew a name out of their corresponding bag to pick the student that would be armed with a pie.  We started the day with pies flying before school, threw some at lunch, and things got a little messy at the end of the day (including special blueberry pie for Mr. Whelpley). The students did not hold back and it was just as much fun for spectators.  

Thank you student leaders, to all that supported a great cause, and to the staff that put their face and hair on the line. A special thank you to the students that helped clean up at the end of the day to make it look like nothing happened. You were amazing!
