Good Afternoon RPI Families,
I came across these two really cool ideas that I wanted to share and see what we can do to stay engaged in our community during this weird time.
I am a huge college basketball fan, and not having the tournament to watch right now is leaving this hole in my heart. So, when a friend of mine did this challenge for his community, I thought we could adopt it so that we could use it here at RPI. This is the March Madness Tournament of Cereal Champions Bracket. Round 1 polls close Monday, March 23 at 6pm. You can vote as many times as you would like. Let’s have some fun! Here is the link!
There are several local communities that are having virtual “Spirit Weeks.” Here is what you need to do:
Like the Reeths-Puffer Intermediate Facebook Page.
Participate in the spirit week by taking a photo of you (in the theme of the day) and doing one of the following things:
Reading
Exercising
Doing something nice for a family member.
Post a photo with your name and grade on our page with the #RPISpirit.
Spirit Day Themes:
Monday: Comfy Sweats or PJ Day
Tuesday: Cartoon Day -- Show us you wearing or drawing your favorite cartoon characters!
Wednesday: Wacky Day -- Mismatch your clothes and socks!
Thursday: Jersey Day: Wear your favorite teams gear!
Friday: Sporting your RP Gear! Go Green! Go White! Go Rockets! #WeAreRP
Let’s have some fun!
Also, if you are planning to come and get food on Wednesday at the high school and need a new book to read, bring what you have already read and we will do a book swap! You can exchange with someone else (I’ll try to remember to bring Lysol wipes) or from the ones that I bring from school. All you need to do is write down what you take, your student number and if it’s a library book, the checkout code. Simple!
Have a great weekend!
Mr. Panozzo
