West Ottawa was hot early from the outside and drained for quick threes that the 7th grade Rockets simply could not recover from. Early misses caused some frustrations, but the team pushed through them to learn a little about the game of basketball and the importance of execution. Raquel Walker, Addison Mitchelson and Kayleigh Brown led the Rockets in scoring on the night while Addison Whitaker and Aiva Kass showed great hustle on defense. The 7th graders need to regroup and refocus for a big game Monday against the Sailors.
