MS Athletics

The 7th grade basketball team put in a ton of effort against West Ottawa but simply couldn’t find the bottom of the bucket. Poor shooting led to lack of execution in the first half; however, the confidence came back in the 2nd half. Leadership was provided by example with JaMichael Williams’s energy and effort. Scoring was eventually found through the play of Hank Mitchelson, Paul Smith, Rodney Walker and Brayden Meeuwenberg. Taking control of the glass was the trio of Williams, Smith and Garrison Niklasch. The team has two practices and two games remaining on the year with a goal of getting better than ourselves.
