The 7th grade Rockets battled injuries, sickness, themselves, and a tough matchup from Muskegon Monday evening. Unfortunately, it was a bit much to overcome despite playing a very solid team game on the offensive end. The team struggled to muster enough defense to claw their way back into the game. In another balanced scoring attack, Hank Mitchelson led the Rockets with seven. Artis Williams played his best overall game of the year and poured in six points. Meanwhile, JaMichael Williams, "Mr. Hustle", had five of his own points to go along with Cole Piper’s five. Javan Terpstra and Rodney Walker each scored four to finish out the scoring. Down low, Garrison Niklasch played aggressively around the rim. Next up is a home match-up against West Ottawa today to finish out the home schedule.
