Lack of execution and five-day weekend legs slowed down the Rockets last night when they traveled to Hamilton. The 7th graders just couldn’t quite pull it together as they faced a very good Hawkeye team. Hank Mitchelson, Paul Smith and Rodney Walker all led the Rockets in scoring while Javan Terpstra, JaMichael Williams, Jaxon Kulesza, Garrison Niklasch and Eli Bessinger all contributed to a very balanced scoring attack. Garrison Niklasch did all he could on the defensive end by pacing the Rockets with six rebounds and two steals. The group has a chance to shake the road blues Wednesday as they travel to take on the Jenison Wildcats.
