One thing for sure is that the 8th Grade Lady Rockets play a tough schedule. That continued last night when the team traveled to play Muskegon.  The Lady Reds jumped out on the 8th grade team and took a 22 to 6 lead after the first quarter. After the first quarter the Rockets battled and competed against Muskegon. The team did a nice job of rebounding and moving the basketball to get open shots.  7 different girls scored for the Rockets. The final score was Muskegon 52 and RP 23. The team travels to West Ottawa in a rematch of an earlier game this year. Leading scorers were Carlee Bowen with 2 points. Taylor Long with 2 points. Emma Lamphere with 2 points. Hope Latsch with 3 points. Sara Carlson with 3 points. Jersi Bilek with 5 points. The leading scorer was Amani Starr with 6 points.
