The Rockets got off to a slow start against W Ottawa, trialing by 7 to end the first quarter. The Rockets struggled to get anything going on offense and couldn’t get any stops on defense in the first quarter. They were able to turn it around in the second quarter, scoring 15 points in the second and holding Ottawa to 8 points. The Rockets tied the game going into halftime thanks to a deep 3 pointer by Jaylin Temple as time expired. The Rockets defense picked up in the second half, holding Ottawa to just 7 points in the 3rd quarter. The Rockets exploded in the 4th quarter scoring 22 points, with three 3 pointers by Ethan Winter to help seal the game. Winters lead the Rockets with 12 points on four 3 pointers. Dre Williams also contributed with 11 points, 3 steals and a block. The Rockets held Ottawa to 9 points in the 4th quarter and were able to come away with a 48-31 victory.
