Congratulations to the RPMS Cross Country team who had a fantastic race Tuesday evening at the Grandville Invitational. Leading the way for the Rockets and placing 3rd overall out of 176 runners was Evan McCollum. McCollum finished with a time of 11:45.31, setting a new personal record 17 seconds faster than his previous mark of 12:02.7.
Also running fast times and scoring for the Rockets were Jax Sieplinga, Gabe Luna, Eli Chevez, and Rodney Walker. Newcomer, Drew Schalk was also able to secure his first official time of the season while competing on the course.
For the Lady Rockets, Mia Hanichen and Harper Roberts led the team through the course, while Goddess Foley and Emma Mathes gave the coaches another proud performance. Adding to the personal record column were Kelsea Kent, Graci Bishop, Kaiden Yates, and Ariella Smith.
