Girls: Harper Roberts was RP’s top finisher in 35th place (out of 174 runners) with a time of 15:52. Coming in 2nd and 3rd place were Mia Hanichen and Graci Bishop. Coach Myah Grant shared that she was impressed by how this young team turned their nervous energy into positive energy at the start of the race.
Boys: Earning a medal and taking 7th place was Evan McCollum with a time of 12:02. A giant personal record. Coming in 2nd and 3rd for the Rockets were Jax Siplenga and Gabe Luna.
Coach Angie Grant is wicked proud of how strong Evan went out in the race and how he ran with confidence.
Goddess Foley, Emma Mathes, and Jonathan Visscher also had incredible 2-mile races. The team will travel to Spring Lake on Tuesday, September 12 for their first WMMSC Jamboree of the season. Good Luck and GO ROCKETS!
