The 8th grade Lady Rockets traveled to Grand Haven on Monday night to face the Bucs. The team led 6 to 5 after the first quarter but then a poor defensive 2nd quarter saw the team trail 22 to 14 at half. The team was down by double digits before a great effort and comeback started. The team battled back to within 3 but unfortunately could not get any closer. The team will play their final Middle School game of their careers on Wednesday versus East Kentwood Pinewood. Come out and support your team one last time. Leading scorers were Gracie Callender (3 points), Jaz Kops (4 points), Grace Tindall (4 points), Ella Voorhies (6 points) and Ash David with a team high 11 points.
