The Reeths-Puffer hockey team extended its winning streak to five games during a road trip to Mount Pleasant over the weekend, beating the Mid-Michigan Raptors on back-to-back days.
On Friday R-P came out on top 7-0. Jaxon Stone and Tyler Tindall scored on power plays in the first period, Carson Harwood, Connor Stawski and Mason Cregg scored in the second, and Avery Wolfe-Sabo and Stawski scored in the third.
Stawski finished with two goals and two assists. Vincent Pollack piled up three assists while Cuti, Tindall and Stone had two and Harwood and Dewey Modaff each had one.
R-P had a 56-16 advantage in shots on goal. Goalie Tanner Bonjernoor got the shutout.

The Rockets were missing five players on Saturday for various reasons but still dominated, downing the Raptors 9-1.
Avery Freeland scored four goals in the victory while Isaiah Winters had three.
Freeland, Winters and Skylor Sutton each scored first period goals. Sutton’s goal was the first of his varsity career.
Freeland and Winters both found the mark again in the second period, then Freeland scored twice in the third while the Rockets got single tallies from Winters and Tindall.
The Rockets outshot the Raptors 59-16, leaving them with a two-game advantage of 115-32. Goalie Mark Stewart stopped 15 shots to gain his second win of the season.

"We were really happy with our secondary scoring this weekend,” said R-P coach Ryan Martin. “Avery Freeland, Vincent Pollock and Croix Klint all had huge weekends and Mark Stewart was able to get his third win in as many starts.
“These blowout games can be difficult. It's hard to stay motivated and it can be easy for bad habits to creep in. However, we were able to get some guys experience in different spots in the lineup and mix up line combinations.”
The Rockets, now 15-5 on the season, will return to the ice on Feb. 1 with a home game against West Ottawa.
