An R-P bowler

Reeths-Puffer bowler Bianca Kammers got off to a great start to the new season on Saturday by taking first place individually at the Wildcat Kickoff tournament at Sherman Bowling Center, which was hosted by Montague High School.

Kammers bowled games of 159, 122 and 156 to finish with a score of 437. That was 11 pins better than the second-place bowler.

Brenna Ackerman, Kammers’ teammate, also had a great day, finishing in third place with games of 118, 156, 149 for a score of 425 – which was just one point out of second place.

Reeths-Puffer’s Hailey Johnsen finished 11th with a 358 score, Brook Buchan took 20th with a 333 and Ella Mattson was 28th with a 307.

The R-P girls finished third overall in the team competition.

In the boys competition, Reeths-Puffer’s Quinn Alderink was the top bowler for his team, finishing 29th with a series score of 402.
