Back in December, the Reeths-Puffer boys bowling team finished in fourth place in the O-K Green Preseason Conference Tournament.
On Saturday the Rockets demonstrated their significant improvement, finishing in second place in the Postseason Conference Tournament at Sherman Bowling Center.
Jenison won the tournament with a 3,763 score. R-P finished second with a 3,453 score, while Mona Shores was third with 3,385.
R-P's Liam Copenhaver, who earned All-Tournament and All-Conference honors.
Jenison won the overall conference championship while Reeths-Puffer and Mona Shores tied for second in the final standings.
Quinn Alderink finished fifth individually in the tournament with a 619 series, while Liam Copenhaver was sixth with a 608.

Copenhaver and Alderink each earned a spot on the All-Tournament team, which combined scores from the preseason and postseason tournaments. Both received medals for their performance.
Copenhaver earned first-team All-Conference honors while Alderink was honorable mention.
The Rockets will compete in individual and team regional tournaments this week.
