The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team played Holland West Ottawa pretty even for three quarters on Tuesday, but a rough second quarter proved to be the downfall for the Rockets in a 64-51 home loss.
West Ottawa led 15-12 after one quarter, then outscored the Rockets 18-10 in the second to take a 33-22 halftime lead.
The Panthers led 44-32 in the third quarter, then put the game away with a 20-19 edge in a high-scoring fourth.

"I'm happy that we fought back in the fourth quarter, we just didn't take care of the ball in the first three quarters, which led to our downfall," Wallace said.
The Rockets, now 5-12 on the season, will host a big rematch with Mona Shores on Friday in an O-K Green conference rivalry game.
