The Reeths-Puffer girls bowling team fell just short of qualifying for the playoffs at Saturday's Mona Shores Sailor Cup Invitational.
The Rockets finished in fifth place in the baker and regular game rounds an finished in fifth place, while the top four went on to the playoffs.
Brook Buchan rolled identical games of 169 and 169 for a 352 series and place ninth individually in the tourmanent. She won a medal for her efforts.

Rowan Bluhm rolled a 308 series for R-P while Hailey Johnsen checked in at 281.
The Rockets bounced back on Monday with a 22-8 victory over Byron Center in O-K Green conference action.
The Rockets got off to a great start with a 10-0 sweep in the baker rounds, then won the first regular game 788-636.

Destani Villalpondo, Ella Mattson, Johnsen and Buchan all won their individual matchups in Game 1, with Mattson rolling a high score of 186.
The Rockets lost Game 2 754-730, with Mattson and Bluhm winning their individual matchups. Mattson was again the leader with a 181 game.
"These girls continue to grow more and more each week," said R-P Coach Karla Buchan. "And it is exciting to see the differences each week brings for each of them."
