Lots of teams lose to the Hart girls basketball team, so Reeths-Puffer is not unusual in that respect.
But the Rockets put up a valiant effort on Tuesday, staying even with the Pirates for most of the game before finally falling 48-39 in a non-conference matchup.
Hart has now won eight games in a row and is 11-1 on the season.
The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the Rockets, who are now 5-9 on the season.

Hart outscored R-P 11-8 in the first quarter and 14-12 in the second and went into halftime with a 25-20 lead.
Raquel Walker paced the Rockets with six points in the first quarter. Ashlyn David had four points in the second while Savannah Lockwood knocked down a three.
The Pirates added a point to their lead with a 12-11 advantage in the third quarter, then sealed up the victory with an 11-8 edge in the fourth.
Walker had six points in the third quarter and Lockwood hit another triple for R-P. Jenna Terpstra, returning to the team after an injury, had two buckets in the fourth quarter.

Walker finished with 17 points and six rebounds. Grace Tindall and Ashlyn David had five and four rebounds, respectively.
Terpstra dished out three assists.
