A few bad rounds doomed the Reeths-Puffer girls bowling team in a 22-8 loss to Grand Haven on Wednesday.
The Rockets were hurt by losing all 10 points in the baker rounds, as well as the first regular game.
They rallied and won the second regular game, 650-603, for four team points.
Brook Buchan
Ella Mattson, Brook Buchan, Hailey Johnsen and Jaden Husted each won their individual matches in Game 2, earning the team one point apiece.
Buchan rolled a 210 in Game 2, which was only three pins shy of her personal best.
“Our R-P ladies are all very talented bowlers,” said Reeths-Puffer Coach Karla Buchan. “The key to their success this season will be consistency, finding their groove to succeed at the same time, and adapting to the various lane conditions they may face.”
