The Reeths-Puffer volleyball team hosted Jenison on Tuesday in an O-K Green conference match.

The Wildcats are ranked fourth in the state in Division 1 while the Rockets have been battling with injuries and a losing streak.

There were no surprises, with R-P falling 3-0. The set scores were 14-25, 11-25, 17-25.

Reeths-Puffer is now 8-15 overall and 0-4 in conference play.

“Jenison definitely deserves the state ranking that they have,” said R-P head coach Justin Birr. “They ran a very efficient offense, and also made smart decisions at the net every single time. They are a disciplined team that will be hard for anyone to beat.

“I am most proud of our team's consistent energy and drive to compete, even when things are not going our way.
