There was no beating Byron Center – few teams ever do – but the Reeths-Puffer boys tennis squad still had a good outing at Friday’s O-K Green conference tournament.

The Rockets finished third out of five teams against a talented field of opponents.

Reeths-Puffer finished with 25 points, just one point behind second-place Jenison and ahead of Caledonia (19) and Mona Shores (11).

Byron Center players won the title in all eight flights, helping their team sweep to the championship with 40 points.
