It takes an entire team effort to generate a good team score.
That’s been happening more frequently for the Reeths-Puffer girls golf team this season, and it’s made a difference.
It’s well noted that the Rockets have two standouts – Rowan Bluhm and Sophia McCollum – who consistently finish among the top golfers at most events.

That was the case again on Wednesday when Bluhm shot a 38 and finished second individually at the fourth O-K Green conference jamboree of the season, played at Lincoln Golf Club.
McCollum also did well again, shooting 44 and taking eighth place..
But the other Rockets on the scoresheet also had good days.

Olivia Ambler overcame a slow start to shoot a very respectable 47, while Ella Voorhies and Emma Dvorak both shot a 51, which was the best score either of them have posted in varsity.
In the end R-P finished with a season-best team score of 180, which was good for third place out of five teams.
“It was great to see all my girls have personal bests or battle through some not-so-great starts to finish strong,” said R-P Coach Matt Pallett. “I am looking forward to seeing what we can still accomplish as a team.”
