Reeths-Puffer cross country runner Jersi Bilek had a good outing on Saturday at the Under the Lights Invitational at Grand Rapids South Christian’s illuminated course.
Bilek finished 22nd in the Sunset Division with a time of 20:05 and won a medal for her efforts. There were 222 runners in the division.
“As always, Jersi Bilek displayed her competitive spirit, taking charge of the course and improving her time by 10 seconds from the same race last year,” said R-P girls coach Lindsay Keefe.

Gabrielle Chevez finished 73rd with a time of 22:22, Adrienne Fluette was 95th at 23:24, Darcy Keefe finished 107th at 24:00 and Katelyn Durow was 114th at 24:11.
The R-P girls finished in 16th place in the team competition with 357 points. Holland West Ottawa took first place.
Jack Yonkman
The Reeths-Puffer boys did not compete as a team, but had three runners in the mix.
Jack Yonkman finished 62nd in the Sunset Division with a time of 18:14. Dylan Sturr came in 71st place with a mark of 18:31 and Gage Bouwman was 163rd with a time of 20:54.
