The relay teams have been strong for the Reeths-Puffer boys track squad this spring, and that continued at a Division 1 regional meet at Grand Haven on Friday, when two of the Rockets’ relay teams qualified for the state finals.
The 4 x 100-meter team of London Rankin-Moore, Marvin Moore, Brody Johnson and Caiden Bolduc finished in fifth place with a time of 43.33, which beat the state qualifying time of 43.50.
The 4 x 400 relay team of Moore, Bolduc, Tate Bradley and Mason Darke finished fourth with a time of 3:25.76, beating the state qualifying time of 3:27.00.

The 4 x 200 team of Rankin-Moore, Moore, Bryce Muskovin and Bolduc finished fifth and just missed the state qualifying time. Bradley performed well individually in the 800-meter run, finishing third with a time of 1:59.99, but did not qualify for state in that event.
“The guys ran well when on the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400,” said R-P Coach Don Ketner. “We were disappointed about not getting the 4 x 200 through, but that frustration helped with the other relays. Tate looked amazing in his 800!”
The R-P girls had no state qualifiers.
