Senior Kyler Brainard had a career game on Friday, scoring an amazing eight goals with three assists to lead the red-hot Reeths-Puffer lacrosse team to an easy 18-8 victory over Northview in an O-K Conference Tier 3 matchup.
It was the second win in two nights for the Rockets and their eighth in a row. They are now 8-3 overall and 7-0 in conference play.
The Rockets led 4-2 after one quarter, 8-4 at halftime and 13-5 after three quarters.
Several other R-P players also had big games, including Carson Cooper, who had four goals and two assists; Cohen Beck, who totaled five goals and two assists; and JT Fansler, who piled up an impressive seven assists.

Brooks Johnson added one goal for R-P while Owen Greiner and Ian Wright each had two assists.
“We started a little slower than we hoped on Friday,” said R-P Coach Josh Robidoux. “At this point in the season, we're certain of the level that the guys can play at, but they weren't making the best decisions and were rushing things.
"On defense, we were making some small mistakes that resulted in goals. We're hoping to clean those things up, because both of our games this week are against teams that will also capitalize on those little things.
“At the end of the day, we turned things around in the second half and were looking like our normal selves. We're glad to have found our stride and to be able to play confidently, but it's all about staying consistent now.”
The Rockets will host Grand Rapids Christian on Tuesday and Jenison on Thursday.
