The Reeths-Puffer girls tennis team took down two opponents in impressive fashion over the past few days.
The Rockets were dominant against Grand Rapids Union in an O-K Green conference match on Monday, winning 8-0.
Brooke Titus (No. 1 singles), Olivia Harris (No. 2 singles), Molly Matz (No. 3 singles) and Kaitlyn Darow (No. 4 singles) all posted easy wins.
The R-P singles players only lost a combined four games against Union.
Olivia Smith and Hope Latsch (No. 1 doubles), Emma Fraser and Lauren Matz (No. 2 doubles) and Malania Eilers and Gabrielle Borgeson (No. 3 doubles all won their matches 6-0, 6-0. The Rockets won at No. 4 doubles by forfeit.
On Tuesday R-P took down Whitehall 7-1.
Whitehall won the No. 1 singles match, but the rest was all Rockets.
Cruising to easy wins were Harris (No. 2 singles), Molly Matz (No. 3 singles) and Darow (No. 4 singles).
The R-P doubles teams kept up their strong performance, as well.
Smith and Latsch had the toughest time at No. 1 doubles, winning the first set 6-2, then battling to take the second by a 7-6 score.
Fraser and Lauren Matz (No. 2 doubles), Eilers and Borgeson (No. 3 doubles) and Laura Tejedor and Ava Dietz (No. 4 doubles) only lost a combined four games in their easy wins.
The Rockets will continue their busy week with matches against Wyoming on Wednesday and Ludington on Thursday.
