Everyone knows Brooklynn Tornes as the high-scoring guard for the Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team.
But she’s also pretty fast, which makes her dangerous on the track for the Rockets.
Tornes, a senior playing her final varsity season, was one of two Rocket girls to win an event on Wednesday in an O-K Green conference track meet against Zeeland West and Grand Rapids Union.
She finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.67.
