The Reeths-Puffer girls tennis team fell to Holland 5-3 on Monday, but there were some good outcomes for the Rockets on a day when several players were missing from the lineup.
Brooke Titus posted an impressive 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles over Holland’s Ahava LeFebre, a highly-regarded player.
Olivia Harris (No. 2 singles) improved her season record to 8-1 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Holland’s Abby Sanchez.

Gabby Borgeson and Malania Eilers, playing their first match as partners since last month, battled to a 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 victory over Holland at No. 3 doubles.
R-P Coach Ryan Hankinson was also impressed with Elana Weiden and Maddie Hutchinson, who were filling in at No. 1 doubles and put up a decent fight against Holland’s top doubles team, falling 6-3, 6-3.
The Rockets will host a three-team event on Wednesday.
