The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team hasn’t had many losses this season, but it experienced a tough one on Saturday.
The Rockets, playing for the second time in two days, fell to a strong North Farmington squad 47-28.
R-P dropped to 17-3 on the season. North Farmington improved to 16-2.
Travis Ambrose put up nine points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks for the Rockets. Jaxson Whitaker added seven points and three assists.
Reeths-Puffer will now embark on the final week of its regular season, with a game at Zeeland East on Tuesday and a home game against Zeeland West on Friday.
A victory in both games would secure at least a share of the O-K Green championship for R-P.
