The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team defeated Grand Rapids Union 59-28 on Tuesday behind a big 21-6 third quarter run.
Brooklyn Tornes led the Rockets with 26 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the field while Megan Barnes added 17 points behind 5-for-7 three-point shooting.
Tornes also totaled 15 rebounds, seven assists and eight steals while Ashlyn David grabbed 10 rebounds.
R-P's Megan Barmes, who scored 17 points, including five three-pointers.
Reeths-Puffer had a 14-5 first quarter advantage and a 12-9 second quarter edge to take a 26-14 lead into halftime.
After the dominant third quarter, the Rockets outscored Grand Rapids Union 12-8 over the final eight minutes.
Reeths-Puffer is now 7-10 overall on the season and 6-5 in O-K Green conference play. The Rockets will host a good Wyoming team on Friday.
