The Reeths-Puffer girls bowling team had a strong outing on Saturday, finishing third out of 16 teams at the Fruitport Invitational at Northway Lanes.
R-P piled up 2,925 points in baker and regular games. The Rockets finished behind second-place Grand Haven (3,047) and first-place Zeeland West (3,130).

The Rockets advanced to the final four playoffs and lost to Grand Haven in the semifinals.
Reeths-Puffer was powered by four bowlers finishing among the top 21 individuals.
Bianca Kammers took 11th place with a 498 series. Brenna Ackerman was 15th (480), Haley Johnsen was 18th (470) and Brook Buchan was 21st (440).

The R-P boys team also did well, finishing in sixth place with a 3,099 score in baker and regular games. East Kentwood finished first with a 3,354 score.
Liam Copenhaver finished 16th individually with a 542 series, Tanner Bahr was 21st with a 517 and Quinn Alderink was 22nd with a 507.
