The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team put on a dominant performance on Wednesday night, defeating Zeeland West 72-7 in an O-K Green conference match, then beating Grand Rapids West Catholic 66-8.
In the match against Zeeland West, Owen Schab (175) took the spotlight after being down 3-2 and ultimately pinning his opponent to get the victory.

Arin Maynard (106), Jake Rozycki (126), Hunter Eek (138), Corey Judd (144), Bryce Muskovin (150), Andrew Corradin (157), Nathan Reeves (165), Sage Secrest (190) and Nathan Stafford (285) all picked up victories via pin against Zeeland West.
“They were missing guys from injury and sickness,” said head coach Jared Fleming about Zeeland West. “But our guys came out and wrestled really well. A lot of our pins came in the second period. We get better as the match goes on and I love that identity for our team.”
In the match against West Catholic, Ian Cook, Rozycki, Cook, Reeves and Secrest all picked up victories via pin while West Catholic forfeited many weight classes.
