Reeths-Puffer wrestlers Jake Rozycki, Ian Cook and Sage Secrest all posted perfect 5-0 records at Saturday’s Williamston Duals.
Their efforts helped the Rockets post a 3-2 team record in the tournament, with victories over Durand, Swan Valley and Williamston.

Reeths-Puffer lost its matches against Adrian Madison and Lakewood, with the latter defeat only being by one point.
R-P’s Arin Maynard and Nathan Stafford both had 4-1 records in the tournament.
Ian Cook
“We wrestled hard and are starting to understand more of what it looks like to wrestle complete duals from top to bottom,” said R-P Coach Jared Fleming. “Every single match matters out of the 14 total, and staying off our backs means a lot in the end.
“The last dual of the day against Lakewood, we lost by one team point. Boy was that fun, and it showed a lot of our younger guys how close it can really be. It was a great weekend!
Jake Rozycki
“We're really proud of Cory Judd for going up a few weight classes and wrestling hard for us on the weekend. Sage, Ian, and Jake all wrestled tough to secure bonus points on their way to being undefeated. Owen Schab continues to come from behind and provide a spark for our team in these close duals."
The Rockets will next compete on Wednesday in an O-K Green conference dual against Zeeland West, and a non-conference dual against Grand Rapids West Catholic.
