The Reeths-Puffer volleyball team had a tough time at Saturday’s Greater Muskegon Athletic Association City Meet at Mona Shores High School.
The Rockets posted an 0-2 record in the tournament and finished in 10th place.
R-P lost to Ravenna in three sets in its most competitive match. The Rockets lost the first set 25-20, ran away with the second 25-5, then lost the third 15-12.
The Rockets lost their other match to Holton 25-17, 25-21.
R-P's Mady Snyder, who had 16 kills and 14 digs at the city tournament.
Mady Snyder led in the kills category with 16 while Hailey Johnson added seven. Grace Darke had 38 assists.
Defensively, Maddy Dyer had 19 digs while Snyder had 14. Johnson chipped into with four blocks and Darke had two.
Reeths-Puffer, now 7-25-1, will play Mona Shores on Tuesday in an O-K Green conference tournament match.
