Reeths-Puffer cross country runners Kye Grant and Jersi Bilek are continuing to finish near the top of the standings in a lot of big races.
Grant, a junior, led the R-P boys team with a seventh-place individual finish out of 165 runners at last Saturday’s West Ottawa Bredeweg Invitational.
Grant finished with a time of 16:34.23, which was 1:31 faster than he ran on the same course last year.

A state qualifier last season, Grant has now finished second, first and seventh in his last three races.
Bilek, a sophomore, finished 14th out of 154 runners in the Bredeweg girls race. She finished with a time of 20:09.
Bilek placed sixth, tenth and first in her previous three races this season.
Overall the R-P boys finished 11th out of 19 teams.

Jaxon Allen finished 30th overall at 17:11.85. Tate Bradley was 36th with a mark of 17:23.01. Jamie Neel turned in a time of 18:36.17 and Jack Yonkman finished in 19:06.09.
The Reeths-Puffer girls also finished in 11th place.
Adrenne Fluette ran the course in 21:29.30, Gabrielle Chevez came in at 22:26.0, Darcy Keefe finished in 22:36.80 and Charli Belinger had a time of 26:19.30.
