The members of the Reeths-Puffer boys golf team were not happy with their performance on Monday and showed it by practicing immediately after the tournament.
The Rockets shot a team score of 389 over 18 holes and finished a disappointing 18th place at the Mona Shores Sailor Invite at Muskegon Country Club.
Grand Rapids Christian took first place with a team score of 305.

“It was a tough day of scoring for the Rockets,” said R-P Coach Matt Pallett. “We have been playing better lately, and today does not demonstrate that. We will work hard to show that today was just a one-time thing and we are still on an upward trajectory.
“I loved seeing my guys on the putting green and driving range after the round today. I know they were a little disappointed in their play. Golf is a hard sport. Last time I checked, the game of golf is undefeated.”
Dylan Panozzo paced Reeths-Puffer with an 88. Kristian Brown shot a 97, followed by Jake Lee and Ayden Hartzell (each 102), Tanner Bonjernoor (106) and Jacob Pierce (117).
