Freshman Keeley Cole and sophomore Adrienne Fluette both won, or helped win, three events on Tuesday, leading the Reeths-Puffer girls track team to a 60-37 win over Wyoming in O-K Green conference action.
Cole took top honors in two distance events – the 800-meter run (3:04.04) and the 3,200-meter run (15:26.31) – both personal records. Tuesday was Cole’s first try at the 3,200-meter run.
“She did a fantastic job putting in great work today and continues to make great choices in her races,” R-P Coach Angie Grant said about Cole.
Fluette won the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:48.20 and the long jump with a leap of 13 feet, 4.25 inches.
The Rockets also captured first place in five other events, including three relay races.
Fluette and Cole – along with Madalyn Simpson and Alexis Bridges – won the 4X800-meter relay.
The Rockets also took top honors in the 4X100 relay (Melana Johnson, Brianna Smith, Amani Starr and Lainey McDonald) and the 4X400 relay (Addyson Smith, Isabella Smith, Bailey Bohland and Dani Casano).
Brianna Smith won the 200-meter run with a personal record time of 27.33 and Isabella Smith won the pole vault by clearing eight feet.
