Reeths-Puffer senior Liam McHugh did a lot of winning on Tuesday night.
The senior track runner captured first place in the 100-meter dash, the 110-meter hurdles and ran the final leg of R-P’s 4X100-meter relay team, which also won its event.
McHugh not only won a lot, but set personal records in the 100-meter dash (11.29) and the 110-meter hurdles (15.66).
McHugh was just one of a long list of winners for the Rockets, who soundly defeated Wyoming 98-35 in O-K Green conference track competition.
“Good win for the team in a week where we have to bounce back and be ready to travel to Holland for a quad meet on Thursday,” said R-P Coach Don Ketner. “The guys are really coming together, performing better as a group and learning how to support and assist each other.

Caiden Bolduc won the 200-meter dash, Sage Stiller-Secrest won the 400-meter run, Jaxon Allen won the 800-meter run, Tate Bradley won the 3,200-meter run (personal record time of 10:48.75), and Ethan Winters won the 300-meter hurdles (personal record of 45.89).
The Rockets also came out on top in three of four relay events.
Winning the 4X100 were Kameron Coleman, Bolduc, Brody Johnson and McHugh. Winning the 4X200 were Marvin Moore, Bolduc, Coleman and Stiller-Secrest. Winning the 4X800 were Bradley, Lucas Garrido, Theodor Bergmann and Kye Grant.
Reeths-Puffer topped it all off by winning the field events. Patrick Sweet easily won the shot put and discus competition while Victor Williams won the pole vault.
