GIVE BACK & GET BACK PLAN
On June 11th & 12th, we will be conducting a curbside Give Back/Get Back for all of our students/families grades K-4.
The "Give Back":
Any/all school-issued textbooks, chromebooks (with charger), library books, Title I books, etc., are to be brought to the curbside pick-up and will be checked-off and stored.
The "Get Back":
Since we cannot allow students in large groups to enter Central Elementary, we will be placing all locker/desk contents (personal items) in a bag with each student's name tagged to the locker/desk contents bag.
If you still have medications still in the office, please coordinate a time with the office staff to come in and collect the medication. Please note that all medication must be picked up by the end of the day on Friday, June 12.
Times Slots: (Choose a date and time that works best for you, from the options below)
June 11th Slot #1: 10:00-11:00 am Slot #2: 5:00-6:00 pm
June 12th Slot #1: 10:00-11:00 am Slot #2: 5:00-6:00 pm
Locations:
- K-1: East side of the building (staff parking lot)
- 2 & 1-2 Split: North side of building, circle drive along Giles (visitor parking lot)
- 3-4: West side of the building near playground (parking lot connecting to MS)
Process:
Please see the route map indicating where items/belongings for each grade level will be staged. Each of the three locations involves three stations that you will visit to complete the Give Back/Get Back process, as follows:
Green Station: Give Back (chromebook, charger, library books, etc.)
Gold Station: Get Back (locker/desk contents, personal items)
Blue Station: Books to bolster your home library and support summer reading
***This will operate entirely in a curbside/drive-through manner. To ensure safety and social distancing, we ask that you remain in your vehicle, drive to and park only at the three stations along the established routes, and exit safely onto Giles upon completion.
