The Reeths-Puffer baseball team won two games on Saturday and captured the championship at the Holton Invitational tournament.
The Rockets rolled to victory in the semifinal game, beating Newaygo 17-1. Most of the damage came in the third inning, when Reeths-Puffer scored nine runs.
Trent Reichert had two doubles for the Rockets, Lukas Johnson had a triple and a single and Holton Earnest had two singles.

Starting pitcher Jaxson Whitaker struck out five of the six batters he faced and got the win, while relievers Brayden Mitchelson and Caiden Theisen each tossed one inning.
R-P wrapped up the tournament title with a 7-4 win over White Cloud in the finals.

Reeths-Puffer is now 7-0 on the season and will host O-K Green rival Grand Rapids Union in a conference doubleheader on Tuesday.
